You know what you want your project to achieve. You have a clear idea of your target market and the type of content you want to use. To get the right results, you need copy that sounds like you and makes sense to your customers. That’s where I come in. If you’ve been staring at a blank screen trying to find the right words, I’ll take the idea that’s in your head and turn it into clear, confident copy.

I’m best placed to help with larger, self-contained projects that need thinking time, structure, and space to get the tone right. If you’re looking for help with a single line of copy or a last-minute tweak, I won’t be the right fit. If you’ve got a substantial piece of work that needs care and clarity, we’ll get on great.

If you have existing content or brand guidelines, that’s great. Otherwise, we’ll work together to create a finished product that reflects your style and conveys your message in a way that will bring your ideal customer to your door (even if you only have a virtual door).

How I work

When you work with me, everything I do is tailored to you. We’ll discuss your project, then I’ll send you a quote and deliver the work on a one-off basis. If you’re an existing client or your project turns into something that needs ongoing content, we can talk about long-term support, too.

Whether you’re a new startup or you’ve been in business for years, your website should reflect where you are now, not where you used to be. Maybe you’re creating a brand new site or have realised that your existing one no longer reflects how you work with clients or what matters to you as a business.

Your visual branding plays an important role, but it’s the words that build trust, explain what you do, and help your visitors decide whether you’re the right fit. I’ll work with you to shape clear, considered website copy that reflects your values and expertise, not generic marketing fluff.

I play well with others, so I’m happy to work alongside your website designer or branding expert so the words and visuals work in harmony.

Long-form blog content and articles

Longer blogs and cornerstone articles help you build your profile and create a strong foundation for your marketing. They’re also great for SEO. If you want to be known for your expertise in your field, I’ll work with you to choose topics, carry out research, and write long-form blog posts and articles that sound like you and reflect your expertise.

Brochures and printed marketing assets

If you’re creating new brochures and leaflets or overhauling your client and employee welcome packs, I’ll help you shape the content before it goes anywhere near design. I’ll also work in partnership with your designer to keep everything on brand.

These are all self-contained projects that benefit from time, structure and a clear brief. This isn’t an exhaustive list, so whatever you need, just ask!
